Meet the Author: Dave Eggers
Public Lecture “Amplifying Unheard Voices”
The acclaimed American writer, editor, publisher, and activist Dave Eggers will give a public lecture as recipient of the 2015 Amnesty International Chair UGent. The lecture will focus on Voice of Witness, a non-profit organization he co-founded which uses oral history to illuminate human rights crises in the United States and around the world.

An Afternoon with Dave Eggers
The day after being awarded the Amnesty International Chair, Dave Eggers will be publicly interviewed in front of a student audience by CMSI members Stef Craps and Sean Bex. Mimi Lok, director of Voice of Witness, will join the conversation. The event will conclude with a Q&A session with the audience and a book signing.
